This tour combines the tours described above. The activity begins in the morning with a hike through the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, where we’ll explore trails surrounded by lush rainforest and cross its impressive suspension bridges, enjoying panoramic views and the region’s natural beauty, always accompanied by a naturalist guide. At the end of this tour, we’ll head to La Fortuna Waterfall, where we’ll hike down to its base so you can enjoy a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters and admire one of La Fortuna’s most iconic landscapes. Afterward, it will be time for lunch, featuring the traditional Costa Rican “casado,” which includes rice, beans, salad, mashed potatoes, fried plantains, and a choice of fish, chicken, pork, beef, or a vegetarian option, accompanied by a refreshing fresh fruit juice (the flavor varies daily). As the final activity of the day, we’ll head to the Peñas Blancas River for a relaxing river float. Before we begin, the guide will provide safety equipment, including life jackets and paddles, and give a brief explanation of the route. During the float, you’ll enjoy the tranquility of the river and the tropical forest, while the guide shares information about the ecosystem. At the end, traditional Costa Rican snacks will be served.
