Return and Refund Policy

Lovely float down a...
Lovely float down a beautiful river loaded with animals. We saw a crocodile, cayman, several groups of howler monkeys, and so many special birds, including Tucans. We also saw a pair of Macaws after we got out of the river- our driver pulled over to show them to us. Our guide Chino is the best of the best, his knowledge of the ecosystem and passion for it (especially the birds, for which his knowledge is seemingly unmatched) makes for an incredibly fun and informative tour.

Peña’s Blanca river Safari
Amazing guide (Juan AKA Chino) was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic to teach about the plants and wildlife. Even educating us along the drive to and from the river tour. We saw tons of wildlife from Caimans to howler monkeys to a large variety of birds (all identified readily by Juan). We even saw a Mother and baby Sloth at the start of the journey. Would recommend to everyone!

Great tour!
We had a great time doing this raft tour. We would highly recommend it to others! We saw a bunch of animals - a cayman, howler monkeys, river otter, and many birds. En route to the river we also saw a very colorful macaw and two sloths - one adult and a baby.

Our raft guide Bryan was awesome, and went the extra mile to stop and try to get us extra time observing the animals.

This tour also does not require any major paddling. Bryan our guide did a good job navigating the river, so to any casual rafters - this was an easy experience. The river is very mild and slow moving. Granted we did have good weather with no rain.

Bryan was the perfect tour guide and even had our van stop along the way to see the other animals. Our driver Gio was also good as well.

Worth it!
Very peaceful and calm boat ride. Saw wildlife including 2 American crocodiles, iguanas, different birds, howler monkeys, turtles, and iguanas. Guide spoke excellent English and was knowledgeable. A little bit of paddling, but not bad.

Wonderful Wildlife Safari Float Experience
We absolutely loved the La Fortuna: Peñas Blancas River Wildlife Safari Float Tour! The floating itself is a very pleasant and relaxing experience, and on top of that we were lucky to see a lot of wildlife.

During the tour, we spotted a couple of sloths, a toucan, and a monkey very close to us on the lower branches of the trees. We also saw many more monkeys a bit farther away, which was still amazing to watch in their natural habitat.

After the float, we were treated to delicious snacks — tasty cheese, fresh juice made from local fruits (star fruit and passion fruit), and homemade banana bread and corn bread. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful and memorable experience.

Highly recommend this tour if you want a fun, peaceful river adventure combined with great wildlife sightings! 🌿🐒🦥

I loved this tour. It was...
I loved this tour. It was an easy float down the river while looking for wildlife. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We spotted an iguana, birds, a sloth, monkeys, and a crocodile. After the float, we got fresh juice, plantains, cake, and cheese. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
